European Warmth, Oklahoma Heart
Mezzo Bakeshop was born from a love for the simple, daily rituals of European café culture, where morning coffee isn’t rushed, bread is crafted with intention, and the table is a place to linger. Located in the historic former Brown’s Bakery building at 1100 N Walker Avenue, Mezzo was created as a neighborhood sanctuary for slow mornings, long lunches, and everything in between.
At the heart of the Bakeshop is a commitment to traditional baking methods, long-fermentation sourdoughs, and high-quality ingredients. From flaky pistachio cream croissants and house-baked pignoli cookies to savory lunch specials and a full espresso bar, every detail is designed to offer a warm, comforting pause in your day. Our space bridges classic European café warmth with the hospitality of Oklahoma City. Whether you are grabbing a fresh loaf to take home, enjoying lunch at a bistro table, or settling into our soft seating over coffee, Mezzo is an invitation to slow down and stay a while.
Brought to life by founders Tori and Chad Arnold, Mezzo grew out of a shared passion for gathering people around good food and thoughtful design. Inspired by their travels across Europe, their vision was to bring that timeless, gathering-focused café experience to Midtown Oklahoma City, creating a welcoming extension of home for the entire community.
